On September 15, Thai military forces operating in the Chiang Dao district of Chiang Mai Province recovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine pills during a patrol along the Myanmar border. Troops from the 2nd Cavalry Squadron and the Chaiyanuphap Task Force, alongside Border Patrol Police Company 335 and S.T. Nah Wai officers, conducted a coordinated search at dawn after initial reconnaissance during the night.
