Taps to run dry across Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan during Thursday maintenance
Residents across dozens of streets in Bangkok and its neighbouring provinces face water service suspensions between 10:00 and 16:00 today as the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority carries out essential maintenance. The work, which involves pipe repairs, system connections and pressure adjustments, will affect neighbourhoods from Thonburi to the eastern suburbs, and extend into parts of Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.
Where the shutoffs are happening
The Thursburi/central Bangkok zone covers:
• Soi Charan Sanitwong 42 Branch 2 (even-numbered side, Sois 40–42)
• Charoen Nakhon Road, from Soi 18 to Soi 26
• Krung Thonburi Road, from Soi 4 Branch 6 to Branch 16
• Liap Khlong Noen Sai Road, between Thawi Watthana Road and point TB 14/7
• Soi Ekkachai 119
In the city centre and northern districts, the work affects Soi Chan Myong 2–16, Ratchadaphisek Road from Soi 3 to Soi 3 Branch 18, Phra Ram 9 Soi 26, and Soi Pracha Chuen 29.
Eastern suburbs on the list include Soi Sangkhom Songkhro 28 (Chok Chai 4 Soi 6), Soi Seri Thai 29, Seree Villa Branch 7 (Srinakarin Soi 55), Sura Khlong Nueng Road (Sois 1–11), Liap Khlong Song Road between Muang Thong Thani and Ja Chae intersection, Rom Klao Road in the Wat Saen Suk area, Soi King Kaew 42, and Sukhumvit Road from Soi Punnavithi 10–26 and Wachirathammasat 5.
In Nonthaburi, the suspension hits Soi Tiwanon 48 (Sathit Yutthakarn), Soi Samakkhi 18 (Chaluai Lak), Soi Tiwanon–Pak Kret 25 (Lan Thong Village), Bypass Road–Pak Kret (Sois 21–31), Sai Lom Village and Phop Suk Village.
In Samut Prakan, the entire stretch of Bua Nat Khrin Road will lose service, along with Phueak Pa Puri Village, Soi Wat Plad Priang, Soi Nam Daeng–Bang Phli 41–45, City Village, and outbound Sukhumvit Road from Bang Pu Municipality Soi 77 to Soi 85.
Night-time cuts add to disruption
A second round of maintenance will halt supply overnight from 22:00 until 04:00. This affects Charoen Nakhon Road between Sois 62–78 and Soi Thaksin 31–41, Phet Kasem Road at Soi Inthapach 13, and areas around Thep Prakarn Road and Sukhapiban 5 Road, including Sois 18–24, Thep Prakarn Sois 59–63, Buamol School, Dan Thong Village, and Nantha Wan Village.

• MWA onMobile application: Available free on iOS and Android, the app's "Water Supply Interruption Areas" feature shows affected locations and timeframes. It can also push alerts to users in impacted zones.
• Online GIS map: The interactive map at gisonline.mwa.co.th/GIS1125 displays current and planned shutoffs by area.
• LINE Official Account: Add @MWAthailand to check outages by coordinates, view water quality data, and see billing information.
• Call Center: MWA operators are available 24 hours at 1125 for queries in Thai.
The authority has asked residents in the listed areas to store water for drinking and washing in advance and plan activities around the specified times. Some locations may experience low pressure or no supply beyond the stated hours depending on how the work proceeds.
